Terms and Beta Notice
Important: LogVector is pre-release software. Verify every imported, suggested, or automatically logged entry before treating it as final. LogVector is not for navigation or operational flight decisions.
1. The beta
LogVector is a pilot logbook app operated by JDV ("we", "us"). During the beta, features may change and the service may contain errors or be interrupted. Information from schedules, tracking, weather, maps, automation, and third-party services may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong.
2. Your flight record is your responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing every entry and for determining whether your records meet the requirements that apply to you. Keep independent backups and use the app's export tools regularly. Do not rely on an unverified entry, total, currency calculation, or automated result as your authoritative record.
3. Not for navigation or flight operations
LogVector is not an approved navigation, dispatch, weather-briefing, or flight-planning source. Maps, routes, airport data, weather, schedules, alerts, timers, and tracking are informational only. For navigation and operational decisions, use current, approved, and authoritative sources.
4. Your account and content
Keep your account secure and provide only content you are allowed to use. Do not misuse the service, interfere with it, attempt unauthorized access, or use it for unlawful activity. You retain responsibility for the logbook, schedules, photos, files, and other content you submit.
5. Sharing your schedule and Career history
Family & Friends sharing shows your schedule to people you invite, exactly as scoped by you. You are responsible for whom you invite and what you share with them. Career history is a separate, default-off choice. When enabled, it shares redacted per-flight data that is detailed enough for the recipient to reconstruct individual flights; it is not merely a totals card. What someone has already seen, cached, or captured on their own device cannot be remotely erased; from the moment you stop sharing, they receive nothing new. Live updates depend on third-party flight data and can be late, incomplete, or absent — never rely on them operationally.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, why it is used, who processes it, and how to export or delete it.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue beta features, and may restrict an account that threatens the service or other users. If these terms or the beta notice change materially, we will publish a new version and may ask you to acknowledge it in the app again.
8. Beta service provided as available
To the extent permitted by law, this beta is provided as available, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
